Easy Day

We visited with A good friend Who used to be a work colleague but retired a few years ago and is now living in California with her son and his family. Her son‘s partner is from North Carolina and they spend part of every summer here. So today we visited them at the beach house. Na’iema And Lucas are very similar personalities and so they got along famously. There are three other children, but they were either napping or unable to go into the pool because of some stitches received on the first day there. After three hours in the pool, it was hard to Get them out but manage we did. Johnny, the nanny spent most of that time in the pool with them so Pam and I could visit. A pretty easy day for me. We only have two days left of her visit and though I’ll be able to catch up on some rest and Blip commenting, I’ll miss her terribly. What a difference six years old makes as to independence and ease of having her. It has been a total pleasure.
