Market Day

Downtown Riberac on a Friday morning. It's buzzing and I spent  small fortune on the delicious tasty treats at the stalls. Olives, confit garlic cloves, tapenade, unusual cheeses, strawberries.

Recovery from the shock is best achieved sitting at the café by the basket stall doing some people watching. Looks like I'm not the only one pleased with their purchases.

In the evening to the mid summer music in the square at nearby St Aulay. There was plenty of good chat with a singer entertaining the crowd with covers of old hits. Dinner was an average quality mass catering effort on long tables.

After the main course a crashingly loud rock group doing grunge headbangers took over. The conversation was drowned out so it was time to go home.
