The Drongs

The view from our stopping place the day before yesterday.

 A grey morning, but mostly dry and not too windy. We spent the morning in the little local museum at Tangwick, just up the road. An interesting chat with the custodian, she tells me I, and she, are 'halfies' .... persons with one Shetland parent. She's returned, from New Zealand.  

We had the usual conversation to establish how we might be related (distantly) and she supplied the address of one of my second cousins who she's sure wouldn't faint if I turned up on her doorstep. We'll see.
