There isn't much open space in the City so every inch must be used when the sun comes out. This is Finsbury Square Garden - the only aspect that relates to a garden is the grass. In reality it normally looks very sad but is a much more vibrant place in the sun.

I appreciate that when the sun comes out we want to make the most of it.

I have seen lots of city gentlemen commuting in shorts and sandals. Displays of men's bodies are rare on the commuter trains to London. There was a man on the train tonight that really shouldn't have been wearing shorts with a white shirt and tie. If he had been 1 ft taller and a few inches less wide, maybe the look would have worked.
