Went over to Js for 9.30 to do a few hours gardening with him. I had to come back home for some garden wire though our time was curtailed a little. I finished at 12 ish so I could get changed and go over to Beeston, where I went to an Indian block printing session. Had a good time using a large variety of blocks to create patterns. The session was a bit long though- it was supposed to be 2.5 hours for three afternoons but the tutor cant now do next week so she added 1and a quarter hours to each of the remaining two sessions. It got very warm towards the end but we cooled down by washing all the blocks, sponges etc. I knew two of the other people there, and two others were very friendly, but I was sitting opposite a man who didn’t stop talking much snd told us about his many jobs and achievements- diplomat, vintage clothes seller, artist, , detective, forensic psychologist, nonexec to several companies, adviser to the council etc etc
