"Like a Rose under an April Snow"

Well today it feels hotter than ever and because of that Phoebe and I didn't venture out this afternoon. Instead we stayed inside in the cool and she watched as I wrestled with my dressmaking.

You may remember I said that after 30 years, I decided I needed another challenge and after falling in love with some material in Taunton and choosing a pattern, I have taken the plunge. I have reached the stage of the invisible zip. That's a joke really because I know however I try, it will probably not be invisible. So on Thursday, shopping day, I will go and purchase the zip. I have read the instruction at least four times but it still doesn't make sense.

Now you may wonder what this has to do with the blip of a rose. Well after spending all day working at the sewing machine, tonight we all ventured out for a walk round the village now that it's cooler. I found and took a wonderful photo of the stream but I can't get the photo to load. ******much cursing so here we have the rose that I blipped previously but now you see how tall it has grown, reaching for the heavens.

All this has been very frustrating so now it's nearly midnight, I am going to shower and go to bed.

Thank you for dropping by to a very frustrated Angelique. Going to bed in a hump.......
