Withdrawal Wednesday!

What a crazy day at Wimbledon! Sitting at work watching my slamtracker and it just seemed to be withdrawal after withdrawal from players in action today! I don't think there has ever been a day like it!

So sitting down after work to enjoy a few games of whoever was left required a little treat! My version of Wimbledon strawberries and cream, half the price and sadly even half the taste! I've never eaten a strawberry since like the ones at SW19!

What I wasn't expecting while watching the tennis and enjoying my treat, was the epic match on Centre Court that was unfolding tonight, in which the great and mighty Federer was dethroned as King of Wimbledon in just the second round in thrilling style! He was made to look human like the rest of the them! In some ways I felt sad for the 'almighty' one of tennis, but in other ways I was glad he'd been beaten by a complete unknown to give them the win of their career and so a changing of the guard could take place next Sunday, with Sampras' record still intact and yet to be bettered!
