Jasmine

A change from the expected leisurely morning to a much busier one. The cleaners couldn’t come, as Anita has problems with her knee, so I did it all myself. Having had two early starts this week on Monday and Thursday I feel really tired today, and fell asleep on the sofa after the exertions.

I spoke briefly to the estate agent to see if there was any progress with the sale. Disappointingly there was no news at all since last week, so I will have to be patient over the weekend in hopes that there might be some movement next week.

Having walked up to Tesco for some bits, I then carried and dragged all the boxes and piles of books into the lounge ready to pick out the rare, old and more expensive ones to put in the new cabinet. I didn’t get very far, sat down for a cuppa and then fell asleep again! I should be going over to the flat for further sorting there tomorrow, but if I’m still feeling this tired I may have to delay for a few days.

In the absence of going anywhere exciting today, I took another tour of the jungle, er… garden and found these tight jasmine buds. I’m not sure if the pink blossom is the same as the white, because on that part of the archway it’s usually just pinwheel jasmine, but this is a completely different shape. A pretty pink rose in Extras as I couldn’t decide. I’m posting this blip in the middle of the night - I fell asleep on the sofa yet again after supper and am now wide awake!
