Emma's picture

I popped into Basil and Blue on my way to the tip today for an iced coffee and nutty blondie, which is a peanut infused white brownie. They go very quickly. Indeed, I had the last but one of the current batch. I like to check that Aussie Emma's picture of the cafe is still on display. She became a regular customer there while she was staying with us and presented them with the picture before she left. To her delight, they framed it and  hang it up and there it remains. It's the one in cartoon style with a woman in a red dress walking with a dog outside the cafe. Emma is back in Perth, Western Australia, nowadays reunited with her flatmate's dog, Gizmo.
