Ohana Means...Family Means Nobody gets left behind
So, today the phone went while I was at work.
"Are you busy".
"I'm at work mum, I'm always busy".
"Oh, okay".
"What's wrong".
"I had an accident".
"Christ, what happened?"
"I fell off the deck chair, and hit my head on the step"
"oh my god, are you okay".
"Well it's bleeding, and it's at the back of my head, and I can't see, I wondered if you could come over and have a look".
"I'm on my bike..."
"Oh that's okay -I'll go for a shower".
"Erm no. You will sit there, and wait I will sort something".
This photo was taken after the above incident, as you can see, apart from being unable to look in the Direction of the Camera, she was upright and okay.
Tooli got there first with help from L, well first after a random visit from H; Tooli called and said "I think she needs the hospital".
Si arrived shortly after and agreed. And off to hospital they went.
5 Stitches later - we were all out to catch up with our "German" family.
Mo - Front left, is married to Juergi - very far back right. Jim next to Mo, is Mo's Brother, who is married to Louise, and they have Chelsea. Si and Tooli are at the end of the table and Wilf and his wife Elizabeth are Louise's dad and mum, and then Nant, and New Dad, and Mum/Gran. Mo and Nant and Mum and Jim are all cousins. (and me too of course)
Family come from all over. Mo and Jim and their families have been in Germany for year - they are very easily slip between German and English, is amazing. Wish I could do it.
So nice to see them all again... We haven't seen them for a wee while, but as with most things these days... we see what's happening on the internet web.
Am driving Gran insane currently with "Are you okay" texts.
We will be keeping an eye on her... closely over the next few days... difficult to tell though if there is anything wrong with her brain. She's madder than me.
