Slept well, then we chatted over breakfast before heading down town on the bus.
I had some pre-meeting chats with various members then we launched into the meeting.
I think it was gritty but good…covered a lot in constructive discussion. Some follow ups over lunch then an hour’s training which worked better than I’d feared. One final catch up then had to literally run to the station to join CR on the train home. Of course we talked about the meeting and next steps nonstop all the way, then walked home from Haymarket.
On the way across the Meadows I passed the community allotment and so grabbed a quick blip. Shame it’s been a dull grey cloudy day all day…so much for midsummer!
Once I got home I just lay on the sofa for a while with a lager before getting up and sorting all the indoor plants and making a list of everything I need to do to prepare the place for my houseswap guests and pack for Cornwall…. We’re ok to go after all which is a relief!
Had some supper whilst chatting to A then did the ironing, watched some Bridgerton and headed to bed. I need this next week’s break!
