Magnolia

Magnolia, Southern magnolia, magnolia grandiflora.

We planted the tree in our front yard over 20 years ago - hard to say how old it was when we got it from the nursery - but it's huge now! See extra. That's our 200+ year old oak tree behind it on our right, the big old maple where I feed the birds poking in a bit on our left. Probably it was a stupid place to plant a tree that was going to get BIG.
