My day
OUR HEALTH SERVICE IS BROKEN 
Moreen dislocated her artificial hip this morning putting her shoes on just after 8am I called the ambulance at 8.30 it arrived about 12 came all the way from Norfolk as none available in Cambridge 
The crew were amazing so kind caring and knowledgeable.
Took us to the hospital no room in the parking area so we parked outside A&E for 4 hours the crew had to get back to,Norfolk so we were transferred to another ambulance this time in the parking area we got to x-ray and. Back to the ambulance. Various doctors came and asked the same questions and eventually a consent form 
After 6 hours we were told there was a bed when we got to the  ward we were told they didn’t have one. On the way back to the ambulance we met the doctor who had said there was a bed he took us back and sure enough there was one.
She is scheduled to have it put back in the morning but if theatre space is found overnight they will do it then
Because she has to have a general anaesthetic she has had nothing to eat and only sips of water 
Deb picked me up and I got home just after eight 
A very bad day
