Chateau de Chenonceau

Our day out today was to the chateau in the photo. It was around 50 kms away. We spent several hours there wandering through the gardens and building.

Historical links with Henri II, Henri III, Louise de Lorraine, Diane de Poitiers, and Catherine de Medici.

The evening was curtailed a bit by more thunderstorms after we had enjoyed such a lovely sunny day!
