Strange plant

I’ve been noticing this plant for a while. It looks like a large white flower from a distance. Close up I wondered if it was another strange poppy (they pop up all the time unexpectedly) but after research I’ve decided it’s some kind of wild carrot! It attracts rather unpleasant little flies.
Taxi to hospital this morning for a scan. Then tried to relax a bit in garden, but was too tired to go a night market for fête de la musique in St James
