I stroked a duckling

We set off relatively early and didn’t encounter any major traffic problems.

We stopped at Tebay North service station for lunch and some provisions. There were lots of ducklings on the pond and I came prepared with some duck food. They were very appreciative and as they were so close I stroked one.

We made it to the lodge in good time. Please look at the extra for the view.

We are now unpacked and drinking a glass of wine.
