Climber

Summer started very wet and curiously dark this morning. After it stopped raining, I went for a walk at lunchtime, and saw many of these little snails along the way. This one impressed me with its climbing skills.

The air was so warm and humid, it felt almost tropical, and after a measly 5,000 steps I was exhausted and went home. I much preferred walking in the cool, clear mountain air last week.
