Wave madness

I usually download my images using the canon camera ap. For some reason this wasn’t working yesterday so I resorted to old faithful, my card reader. This morning I went out with my camera hoping to bag a blip or two. I had a great shot of a robin in my viewfinder but when I pressed the shutter.....nothing! Just the message: “No card in camera”. Where was it? In the card reader still attached to the computer. I’ve not done that for a long time! Just shows what happens when you break with routine.
