The Imperial Hotel, 1909. Lumix M4/3 20mm

When one drives past the same scene day after day for years, the buildings tend to recede into the background of one's conscious.  I have been meaning to photograph this lovely old building in the centre of our village, Brighton.  Today, despite being 917°F, was the day.
This was originally a hotel, The Imperial, when the building went up in 1909, apartments upstairs now.  But it shared space with Rourke's Pharmacy on the street level, and many other tenants over the years.  I'm pleased it's still there, pretty-much intact.
Thanks are due to this website for the history.
