Breakfast al fresco

in scorchio temperatures!

This is where we broke our fast with a Full English at Uphill Village, Weston-super-Mare. Already warm, only to get warmer still is we headed home from Somerset to Devon.

(That's a bit of Wales you can see on the horizon.)

This evening, I swam in the sea, soon after 6pm, and lay warming myself on the beach for another hour. The sun was still hot at 7pm and I was almost dry by then.

Salad and strawberries for supper.

Oh, I love the summer.
