Warbler

Merlin told me he could hear a loud Cetti’s Warbler. I took a few shots from the bird hide, and checked them against the Merlin app. Still not sure.

I had a lovely couple of hours at the local SWT reserve and saw so many ducklings, goslings etc. gorgeously summery and everyone seemed to be making the most of this overdue summer weather. 

Fingers crossed that it will last awhile. We're so close to the shortest day, it had better hurry up. 

Edit : I asked about it on the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Facebook page. They’re very helpful and respectful and apparently it’s a female blackcap. I’m still pleased with the photo, though.
