Remembering Schindler
The main photo taken in the Oscar Schindler Factory Museum shows one of the sewing machines used in the building during the war years. Most of the items and depictions were too harrowing for Blip.
However the second Extra shows some of the Jewish property looted in Krakow during the Nazi period. Since returned.
The other Extra is a scene of a brine lake, 135m below ground in the Wieliczka Salt Mines. It was a very physical tour day with around 400 steps down into the 700 years old salt mine. Then a further 350 odd steps down to various levels in the mine. There was an elevator to the top at the end of the tour!
