Heron at Gilbert Run

This is the epitome of an EB.
I wanted to get closer to the heron and tried to go downhill in my flip-flops. That was a very bad choice. I ended up face-planting at the bottom of the hill. The good news is that nothing seems to be broken, including my camera. The bad news is that I look like I have been in a car wreck with lots of cuts and bruises.
