Another day, another park!

We recently found another local park near us we hadn't visited before. The main photo here shows our view of a halo as we were leaving the park. What a treat! 

This is Manatee Mineral Springs Park (formerly known as Indian Spring) located at Riverwalk East. This park is the site of a State historical marker describing the rich history of the location, as it's named after a natural spring used by American Indians. 

A couple of weeks ago I added a blip of another new walk we did on Bradenton Riverwalk. The Mineral Springs park is an extension of this, located at Riverwalk East and one of the oldest parks in the region. Both walks follow the Manatee River, but are separated by a bit of private property and not connected. 

We enjoyed both! The Mineral Springs Park has a observation tower which you can see in the extra photos!
