More cleaning

We’d hired a carpet cleaner so had a busy morning. After dropping Phin at daycare we treated ourselves to a buffet breakfast where we were lucky to get to the counter before the 30 strong group of BT telecoms engineers. Ate far too much but didn’t need any lunch.

We headed to the garage to collect Mr PHL’s car and he then went collect the carpet cleaning machine and I went home to start the hoovering. I managed to nip out to the collection point to pick up a parcel and to drop off some shoes I’d sold yesterday.

Our hoover doesn’t really do edges very well so i used a knife to bring up the dust that had gathered there. It was surprisingly effective. By lunchtime we’d hoovered the rooms we needed to use the carpet cleaner in and had one final room to clean. I nipped to the supermarket and Mr PHL finished the room and then took the caravan back to storage. I cleaned the cooker and cooker hood and tidied the kitchen before finishing off the dining room. Visitors sure are good for the housekeeping!

I finally managed a shower before a quick dinner and time to head to choir. Finished off Somewhere only we know and confirmed that I was performing on Sunday as I couldn’t find any confirmation. Just as well I’ve been playing the setlist on repeat for weeks!
