Skirting the issues....

What news have I got today? None at all. This really will be a quickie.

Today was a home working one and as it was hotter than hell outside so I kept my front room office blinds closed all day and I took the strange decision to wear my only summery dress. These two facts are unrelated by the way.

Anyway, my dress is nearly ground length and floaty so no scary matchstick leg revelations are necessary. Tesco Man arrived at 10:20 and greeted me with a cheery 'Hello Gorgeous!' I was most shocked I must say. He wasn't the one who I waved my knickers at by the way. I was a bit worried when he asked me if I was going anywhere nice. I mean, imagine if he thought I'd dressed up specially and all the Tesco Men thought that the mad Sheldon woman was liable to jump on any passing strangers? How awful!

I got the shopping in as quickly as possible, scribbled on the screen and shut the door gratefully.

Work was OK, pretty quiet really and as it was so hot, I stayed inside after work and had my second lovely chat of the day indoors rather than risk someone giving me another two fingered salute along the towpath. Back to trousers and boots tomorrow I think..

Disadvantages of me wearing a dress are:-

1. People think I'm going somewhere.
2. I trip up the stairs carrying a pile of towels
3. There are no pockets to put my phone

I'll skip the advantages as this was supposed to be a quickie.
