A new, firmer chain and straighter chainring on the existing slightly-warped crank spider results in an unfortunate clanky noise when pedalling anything more than weakly. Fortunately, the other one is running more smoothly than it has for ages AND I currently know where my crank bolt extractor and BB removal tools are.
