Why did the crayfish cross the road?

I’ve no idea but it was lucky not to get squished when Mr F drove past! Elvis was interested to see what it was, but the crayfish was rather grumpy, and so we walked on.
Last night brought another storm, and over 2” of rain but today is much fresher, less muggy and nice and warm.
