The Hat Tavern in Soho and in the side street to its right a yellow brick building proudly proclaiming itself to be The Hat Factory, Henry Heath, Oxford Street. Hats were made from the fur of beaver, otters, rabbits, hares and musk rats. Established in 1822, it went out of business in the 1930s when hat-wearing declined. The endless fascination of London!
