Blackbird

We went and did BILs shopping this morning went and helped to put it away and have a chat.
When we got home I got the tools out and finished trimming the hedge. The electric trimmer is starting to ware and the gears keep dropping out I will have to get a new one before the autumn trim.
Finished just before lunch then finished clearing up after lunch
When we got back there was a message on the phone from a camping friend to say another friend of many years had died on Monday, she had a bad stroke about 4 years ago and has been in a nursing home for most of that time. So sad they were a lovey couple and we had a lot of great times together.
We went to the garden centre to get a card this afternoon to send to the family and stopped at a cafe on the way home.
When we got home there were some goldfinches on the feeders so I got the camera out and off they went but  this lovely blackbird turned up so thats my blip.
Been more cloud today but nice and warm
