Bridge 1 - Llangollen Branch

We were out with the walking group today doing a circular walk from Barbridge. This gave me the opportunity to blip bridge number 1, Hurleston Bridge, on the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union Canal at the top of Hurleston Locks. 

This unattractive concrete bridge carries the A51 across the canal and is relatively modern. It replaced an older bridge (1a) which can just be seen through the arch. I thought I would save the more attractive old bridge for another day and take advantage of the fact that this looks slightly better than usual in the sun.
