Yippee! The boating lake

‘An hour messing about on the water and then back to The House in the Clouds for crab sandwiches and lashings of Aunt Min’s homemade ginger beer. This afternoon we will have rounders on the beach before tea’.
They don’t make holidays like that any more…….but you can still hire a boat on the Mere and sandwiches are still on the menu at the tea rooms. Not sure about the ginger beer though….
