Big skies

....and big mountains.  Ahhhh......breathing in the fresh mountain air........feels good.  Great drive from Christshurch.......wet to begin but eased just before Ashburton and, as you can see, a hint of blue trying to brak through by the time I reached the Mackenzie area.  

Sis is heading away on a holiday today too.......I think our destinations could hardly be more different.......mine.....snow, frost and fog (if my hoar frost plan is realised) in Twizel, hers.....sun, sea and sand in Fuertaventura.  We'll compare notes along the way haha.
