Busy bee

I intended cutting the long stemmed flowers of my Kalanchoe (Paddle Plant) bushes as they are interfering with the outside alarm beam, but when I saw the large number of bees busy collecting pollen I didn't have the heart to cut them down. So we will do without the alarm beam until the flowers are finished!! It was a hive of activity on every flower. 
I completely missed putting up a blip yesterday - my day just seemed to fly by. Good news is that my passport was delivered, so now I am ready for my trip later in September. 
Today is the Inauguration of our President for his second term, so there is much activity in Pretoria. Let's hope this new Government of National Unity is going to be for the betterment of our country. Interesting times.
