Remarkables reflections …..

….. ….. ….. in some Lower Shotover River pools.

With a task I needed to attend to Frankton, Missy & I headed to the Lower Shotover River area first, for a walk.
I wasn’t keen on the cold southerly funnelling up from Lake Whakatipu but there were some sheltered areas and it ended up really worthwhile.

I went over to our Lodge Cinema this afternoon to see the documentary movie ‘4 PEAKS’. What an amazing production and I find it hard to believe that I’ve never heard of it before. It was the brainchild of a Nepalese mountaineer, in Project Possible, a plan by Nepali high altitude climber Nirmal Purja who together with 5 other Nepalese outsiders climbed all the world’s mountains over 8,000m in 6 months 6 days, breaking several world records in the process! It made incredible viewing!
