Fiona Queen of the Universe

This is a painting of my Maine Coon Fiona by my friend Tricia Kittridge. Fio lived almost 19 years and was totally aware of how beautiful she was. Tricia’s husband, Don Anderson, is a professional photographer. He took a series of photos of Fio so Tricia could paint her portrait. Fio posed for him for almost an hour. When he put away his camera she went and lay down. It was so clear she knew exactly what she was doing. Tricia’s paintings are mostly pen, brush and ink. Her work is amazing.
