Gone....but not too far

Wonderfully hot again today after a very foggy start to the day here on the coast.

After work, I went for a walk on the beach and a paddle. This structure on the beach extends from the prom. Apparently, it's a sculpture. No-one is permitted to walk on to it. It's to be viewed from the cliff top but you still can't tell what the hell it's supposed to be......what a waste. It would make a terrific little pier on which to sit and have a coffee from the shop behind it. It's been up for years, so maybe one day....
