Nature Diary, Sweet briar rose ..Rosa rubiginosa

A beautiful day from first thing in the morning until late in the evening. 
A good day to put to rights a lot of the mess left in the garden by continual unexpected downpours of rain. 
Lunching in the garden felt as hot as in high summer, with not a breath of wind, and so many plants are now really showing their best sides. Splendid!
