French Poppies
Yesterday lavender, today poppies. So many flowers hereabouts that we are spoilt for choice. Every town, village, or hamlet seem to have an abundance.
These poppies were in Descartes. We went for a long leisurely coffee / drink at a small bar in the square. Afterwards a walk along the route of a disused railway line, now made into a path for walkers and cyclists.
We left the path and walked alongside the river and then into a beautifully cared for park before heading back to the car.
BBQ in the evening as we watched the sun go down with wonderful colours in the sky. Yesterday’s rain forgotten.
