Old gateway.

This is on the edge of Badby Woods. I've been trying to find some history of it and I'll add the info later if I find out more.
We walked in the lovely cool woods (bluebells blipped in May) because it's really hot in the fields and footpaths at the moment. (Was wondering if I would ever be able to report that this year!)
The bracken has grown over 6' tall since the bluebells were out and it'll be very hard to spot any deer this time of year. Badby woods is quite large and well worth a visit. Especially on a hot, sunny summer's day! :-)
