Steps

I seem to have climbed an inordinate number of steps in the last couple of days. The coastal paths are up and down all the time. I have not been recording walks but, according to the phone, walking has involved climbing the equivalent of 82 floors. This morning I declined the hotel breakfast and instead made my own. There is a self catering area which is much appreciated by the guests. We decided today that we would start a walk at the coast, walk part of the Cami de Ronda and then return to the town via a little stream that comes down the valley. Unsurprisingly much of it was dry after the drought that has been severe in Catalonia. We were back in the town by late morning, so we had a coffee while waiting for lunch to be served at the same place we went to yesterday. I so liked the octopus I had the previous day that I ordered it again. We then walked back down the valley to collect the car and then walked another part of the Cami before returning to the hotel to retrieve a couple of ice creams we had left in the freezer.
