A pleasant sunny day at last- hurray!
Went to my sewing group in the morning. The second quilt is finished and we have started on cushion covers. Came home via the supermarket and Hobbycraft and The Range (I need better storage for my craft room) went straight out into the garden to cut the grass. After that I had intended to do the final session of planting but decided the cherry tree just needed a couple of branches taking out…… forty minutes later this was the result. By the time I had cut this heap up to get into my garden waste bin, deadheaded the roses and tied back an unruly hollyhock (it will go to Js once its finished flowering) I had backache and it was almost 6pm so I called it a day . If course when I’d put everything away and had a shower I saw another branch overhanging the pavement which needs taking out
