...we may moan about the heat, but at least we have the intelligence to find ways to cool down.

Chester dog is lacking intelligence! A lot of intelligence. He hasn't worked out he can lie in the shade.... Or indeed go into the house where it's cooler.... Or maybe just stop running round searching for tennis balls and cats! ?
