Meet the Boys

The peregrine chicks have all fledged today at Tewkesbury Abbey and have been scattered round its roof top. Mum had a high vantage point on a pinnacle and must have been staring anxiously as she watched the attics of her chicks taking their uncertain first sorties. 

The boys here were high up on a parapet having a chat. There wasn't a great deal of action when all was said and done as I think they must have just been fed. They ended up lying flat on the edge just sunbathing in the end; mum ever vigilant.
