Chicken Pie

Chicken pie with pancetta and a cheese, mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, and sugar snap peas), fries ("chips"), and gravy to douse on all of it.

We had a very good lunch at a pub in Chester after spending a few hours visiting this delightful medieval (with Roman traces) city. After lunch, we drove down a series of occasionally harrowing back-country roads to Wrenbury where we picked up a rented narrow boat. We made the first few miles of our seven day trip along the Llangollen Canal.
