Me, My Camera & I

Early start

Imagine if you will having to wake up at 1am to do a job for someone. Well I had that job last night.

My mother does dog showing. Now that one of her puppies is now a full 6 months old he is now being shown. Yesterday's show was all the way down in Windsor. Lucky me got the call at 12am that she would be arriving at 2am at the Forth Road Bridge. I foolishly arrived at the bridge car park 40 minutes early. Fortunately there is a 24 hour petrol station that was able to supply me with all manner of snashters. I happily was able to entertain myself with some Irn Bru and Wikipedia. I bizarrely thought I'd look up info about the Forth Road Bridge - quite interesting reading.....

Anyways I got my mum at 2:15 off the bus with her twa dugs, trolley, chair, set of trucks for said trolley and 5 bags of stuff.
She doesn't travel light.

I got on my way back into Edinburgh at about 3am and took a detour through town as I thought I would be able to get some nice early morning silhouette photos on my way back. I was right, but the ones I thought would look fantastic were shrouded in trees making a good shot hard to come by. Nonetheless they are in the blipbank for later.

So, today's blip was actually taken 2 minutes from my house facing eastwards. Very little fiddling was done to achieve this too. I am loving my wee 50mm lens still. There is almost nothing that it hasn't impressed me with.
