Dunstanburgh Castle.
Our favourite walk is through the little fishing village of Craster, with the smell of kippers smoking, out onto the track between the grass bound dunes on one side, and a shoreline of darkened sea-worn boulders. In the distace are these remains of the castle, perched above on the Whin Sill cliffs. We then usually go back to Craster for crab sandwiches.A great day out.
