Sussex Downs

With a little line of the sea at the top. A fine walk with Ella. Continuing big winds stopped any sea swimming plans which was annoying but instead I cooked a pile of meals for the freezer and a courgette cake which Will js refusing to eat because he claims he doesn’t like it for reasons he cannot articulate. Pffff.

Then a good hacking back in the garden. 2024 is a failed garden year for me, I spent hardly any time there in March and April and it’s all showing now, there is very little going on. That’s ok, there is always next year- I did plant some (ever so late) dahlias so we will see what happens.

I have spent a lot of reading time this weekend which has been lovely, did more of that watched parks and rec, Netflix tour de France and the first half of the boring old football.
