Scotland vs Germany

It was the opening match of Euro 2024, Scotland versus the hosts of the tournament, Germany. Scotland fans had not been abroad at a major tournament since 1998. It was one big party. Then reality hit. 5-1 Germany.

In an attempt to get Orla and Conor into football we insisted that they watch this game, because it was a perfect opportunity to get into it. In reality it was the perfect advert for not getting into football. We turned it off at half-time.
