Children Through the Ages

On a day for goodbyes, we remember the lives that carry on through our children.

David Backhouse's Children Through the Ages:

A boy walks through Coed Mawr yr Rhyl in the middle ages. he looks towards children running through the ages to the present day.

The children move across a background of historical landmarks in the Rhyl area including St. Margaret's Church Bodelwyddan and Rhuddlan Castle with reminders of Rhyl's coastal location and rural heritage.

The modern child holds a globe to symbolise that he is a child not only of Rhyl but of the world.
